back this cool rainy morning with another halloween storybook journal i've named "all hallow's eve". it's been created from a 1900 natural history book. i will be listing this journal this morning in my etsy shop here.
"all hallow's eve" cover
since this book was once a natural history book, i thought the cover with it's bugs and animals was perfect for this spooky halloween journal. it measures 4.5" X 5" and has a combination of vellum, lined writing, vintage linen, drawing, and black vintage photo album papers, on which you may journal, sketch, draw, paint, and glue.
close up of the trinket cluster attached to the title tag and sturdy o-wire binding.
wonderful original end papers with a library check out card holder and a journal tag tucked in.

thank you for looking! i think i'll create a christmas storybook journal next or maybe a travel journal. it's going to be hard settling into these cool rainy days again, we had such a beautiful summer - maybe a travel journal will help! lol.
i hope these journals will give you some ideas to help you create a special journal of your own, but please be sure that the book you choose is NOT a first edition or a special edition of any sort. a google search of the vintage book should give you a good idea of the type of book you plan to alter. you might be surprised to find that that old book you've had stored away is worth much more then you expected; either in itself or the memories it holds.
must go list this in my etsy shop now, thanks again to those of you who have contacted me and have been patient! enjoy your day - go create! -rebecca
