geesh, baby, it's cold outside! here we are again, freezing weather, bare naked trees, squirrels going crazy gathering nuts, threat of snow for tomorrow, the holiday boat cruise sunday, christmas around the corner! yippee! it's time for flannel nightgowns, fleece throws, popcorn, cocoa, cozy fires, soft lights and some good holiday music and movies! i love this time of year! i don't know how i would ever live in a warm climate over the holidays. i can't imagine wearing shorts on christmas day! (well, actually, i can't imagine and don't want to imagine wearing shorts at all! lol!)
so here is my next storybook journal, i've listed on etsy, "winter twitter", yes, you guessed it, birds. the papers i used are from daisy d's holiday collection, the cover images are from 2 wonderful, (luckily for me- broken) children's books from the 1800's. the pages are in amazing condition! i have, once again, added some of that really cool vintage lace i collected, a vintage bingo card from the 30's, tiny lined coin envelopes, this time handmade, and some fun metal page tabs. here it is:
i left the top half of the flower and leaf unattached so you may slip
a business card or small photo behind it.
