just thought i would post what is going on here in my corner, i am working on a couple of special orders, restocking my kits and creating a little heart album, slow but sure, lol.
also, ohmygosh, i have been asked by some special ladies here at "All Moments Remembered" to create some exclusive adornment packets for their monthly kits. now, anyone who knows me, knows that, to commit to something that happens on a regular basis, whether it is a class, meetings, babysitting or any type of "schedule" is outside my "comfort" zone. it always has been, it's like, let me see if i can explain this reason...it puts a cap on creativity for me, it's a worrisome thing. i'm not sure why. i like to do things at my own pace, if an idea pops in my head, actually i will say, when an idea pops in my head, i like to go with it, at least start it and see where it is leading. i don't like having to have something done at a set time, it makes me nervous. lol but i have commited myself and am looking forward to the challenge! one reason is, heather and stacey are both enthusiastic, fun, and creative. another reason is, i like putting these adornments together, they use a lot of supplies that i have left over from other projects, (you know, the "one" item i had to have for an album, but to get it, i have to buy the whole pack of whatever it is, geesh,) and thus, helps to keep my "corner" under control! so lets go with it! i can't wait to see what february's kit is! check it out on the 1st.! i'll post a link when they show.
well, i best get busy, here is a peek at the little album i'm working on, it was inspired by a thick chipboard scalloped heart that was part of the packaging from some embellishment kits i bought.
i'm thinking, a round binder clip to keep it all together, or a chain, which might be harder to flip...unless i use grommets in the holes, hmmm.
have a creative day! -rebecca
