hi, hi! so, i am back tonight with a little mini album here that i am calling "life is beautiful" inspired by these wonderful, bright papers that i have used from sasafras lass. i have had this collection for quite some time and doodled around with it, but only last week came up with this little file folder idea. i received a little 7gypsies portfolio album from one of my lovely lady shop owners and decided to duplicate that idea and create this:

there are 3 flaps- one on top, one on bottom and one on the right side. the side flap folds to the outside of the album cover.

the top and bottom flaps fold to the inside, over the 3 little file folders.

page 1 is the inside of the portfolio cover and page 2 is the front of the first file folder. each of these pages have 2 bottom pockets. the little decorative fringes on the top of the bottom pocket are loose on the bottom edges so they can hold a little note or picture under them. there is a double-sided tag slipped in the first page pocket. on page 1.
pages 3 and 4
these pages are the inside of the first folder with 2 pockets on each page- the flowered paper strip and the printed ribbon serve as pockets. there are 2 double-sided tags here.
pages 5 and 6
the backside of folder one and the frontside 9of folder 2 with 1 bottom pocket on each page and 1 double-sided tag on page 5 with a tiny pocket on top of the bottom pocket and a little photo album attached to the bottom pocket on page 6.

there are six- 1.5" X 1.5" pages tied with a bow.
inside folder number 2 there are 4 pockets total with 2 double-sided tags.
pages 9 and 10
the backside of of folder 2 and the front side of folder 3 there are 2 photo mats on these pages with the sweet owls on the branches serving as photo holders. there is room for journaling or photos on the bottom of each page.
pages 11 and 12
there are 2 bottom pockets on both of these pages.
pages 13 and 14
these last 2 pages are the backside of the third folder and the inside back of the cover. page 13 has another little booklet with 9 pages for photos and a rick rack pocket holding a double-sided tag. on page 14 the owl creates a large pocket.

thank you for looking. i really had fun creating this type of album, maybe a secret love album with the same portfolio idea ? hmmmm. for now, i will be listing the baby girl album next, after i edit all the photos- it's going to be a long night, lol.
