hi, back with another journal, this time a bit different. this storybook journal started as a 1963 "my book house" story book. it measures 6.75" X 9- 3/8" and has 20 premium card-stock pages, vintage cotton content typewriter paper, and pint sized lined note paper. i have attached a binder mechanism with 3 rings to the binding so pages may be added and removed. it is listed in my etsy shop here.
there are lots of pictures here, maybe you should grab a large cup of coffee or tea (oh heck, maybe a large whiskey) and settle in...

the first page is taken from an early reader. all of the cut and paste pages have been taken from story book and music pages dating from the 20's and 30's.
pages 2 & 3
these are melissa frances papers trimmed to create a pocket on page 3.

sweet music papers framing the pages and creating a bottom pocket on page 5.

a little tag on the bottom rings and a cute sun(cosmo cricket?) creates an attached side tab maybe could be used to clip a little memory to. many of these papers are from long ago, lol - well, a couple of years perhaps. anyway, i have since lost the paper company names they came from- i will name the papers that i can.

there are 9 pages of vintage cotton content typewriter paper between pages 8 and 9.

cutout papers from a vintage music reader embellish page16, 12 tags in a business card holder between these pages, and a little strip pocket on top of page 17 under which you could slip a note, memorabilia or any such fun keepsake.

a 1930's first uncle pennybags card as a pocket on page 24 with a removable bookmark between these pages.

more journaling/stash pages. costco has an assortment of glue dot adhesives in- very convenient. there are 15 more pages of typewriter papers between these pages, a vintage mini card forms a tiny pocket on page 27.
