"Love's Passion" a mini album

hi everyone, first, i would like to thank you all for asking about my dh, lol! so funny it must have sounded, me sitting and blogging while he is in the hospital having xrays, geesh!  what actually happened was, he is an avid bike rider and has one of those road bikes that have the narrow tires and cleats on his shoes that attach to the pedal, so his foot won't slide, well, he wasn't quick enough with those fancy shoes this time and went down with his bike and skidded quite far across the pavement. he drove his bike home and his whole right side was was scrapped and his collarbone was extremely sore, there were no tears in his clothing and no swelling, but he felt it was necessary to drive himself (that man! geesh! no help from me) to the hospital to make sure there was nothing broken. he is sore but everything is fine. he always wears a helmet for which i am very grateful, and he is recouperating nicely. now, the bike is a major concern since it was pretty bent up. that guy!

well, through all this and babysitting baby owen today, yippee! this is finally finished and posted in my etsy shop. yeah! i am showing pictures of each of the pages with tags first and without tags in the pockets, below. on etsy, we only get to show 5 pictures of our items, so, i am posting more here so everyone can actually see how the pages look both ways. look at that bind-it-all binding! nice!

"autumn days" and "giving thanks" album kits

hi everyone, well, i am quite busy once again, yeah! but i had to post this new pocket pages album kit and add-on that i am listing in my etsy shop. the album kit is called "autumn days" and is made from basicgrey cardstock and reminisce leaf patterned papers.

i have to say the colors are fun in this paper collection! can't you smell the wood burning in the fireplaces? i love autumn! okay, so here is the thanksgiving add-on kit for this album:

i also have in the works, some fall tags that are made from the same basicgrey paper collection, but didn't work well with the vintage images. i will hopefully, get them listed in etsy tonight or tomorrow. they would work well in the "autumn days" album for fall photos.

i gotta get some orders out, unfortunately, my dh took a nasty fall on his bike this morning and is at the hospital getting ex-rays, so i am way behind in getting these orders completed. geesh, poor guy!

a storybook journal

phew, finally, i was able to get this journal made using my new bind it all! yeah! i love this machine! it is a snap! i am calling this  a "storybook" journal because the cover is made using vintage storybook  pages from a 1911 reader. i hope to be able to create more journals from other books that i have collected, so fun!

it's total measurement is 4.5" X 7" and has 45 pages with a combination of heavy, and medium cardstock, watercolor papers, linen, and handmade papers, (not made by me), with lots of room to journal and 11 pockets which include 3 tiny manila envelopes, that are actually called coin envelopes, to file papers in. i have used vintage lace, ribbon and pages.

you can slip a note behind this fancy french lady cutout. and the vintage bingo card has a pocket with a tag slipped in.

this page has 2 pockets, one that goes the entire length of the page and the other is made of vellum lined with lace.

orders, orders, more orders!

wow! busy, busy, busy! i had to get on and ~*thank you angie*~! at scrapscene for posting my interview this morning! this lady rocks! yeah!

as you can see, i am uPsiDeDoWn busy! i have about 5 more orders to go, as of this hour, lol! i love it! thanks all!

         

i shall return when i am caught up with orders and can finish my love journal tags, and a new journal idea that i' m excited about, oh yes my pirate book, geesh! yawn, maybe i'll slip into bed... not really, gotta go! -rebecca

new halloween pocket pages album kit and add-on

back so soon? i am! i know it's a shock, i know, but, i did promise i would put the pictures on today, of this new album kit: "hallow e'en" it is in my etsy shop and i will add it to the blog too.

there is a pocket for a photo on the cover here, i just liked how the page looked without a tag.

there are 4 pockets on these two pages, the top one is in front of the cats, behind the striped paper that i have zigzag cut. That cat on a jol is a little matchbook cover in it's own pocket.

On Page 6, i have attached a little tag with a bamboo clip.

so there it is! the papers are rusty pickle's halloween collection "Adams Family". with names like; morticia, gomez, pugsley, wednesday, grandmama, and uncle fester- very fun! the card stock is bazzill.
