i'm posting this for you- know- who, i hope it's what you were thinking of. it measures 4.5" X 6":

                                 

                                 

pregnancy journal "cradle hymn" a new storybook journal

   okay, i hope everyone is ready to, or should i say, i hope everyone has time and patience to view this new journal. lol, it is a pregnancy journal and has to hold 9 months of information and memories so it is rather thick and somewhat heavy. the covers for this journal have been created from a 1878 children's book. there are over 60 pages of blank papers including sketch, water color, vellum, handmade, lined, and linen, with tons of pockets and envelopes, to hold all the information that one collects during their pregnancy. it has been divided into 3 sections for the 3 trimesters, with tags for writing down dr. visit and baby info. yikes, i hope you like it! :

this is the front of one of the several pockets that i have created like

this, with an extra little pocket on the front bottom. you can also see

a bookmark lying in front of the journal here, so that you will always

know where you last wrote.

a "girl names" tag is tucked into this vintage lace pocket that folds

around to the back of the page ...

to create another pocket for the "Boy Names" tag.

and the back. the exact colors are hard to capture, it is sorta in

between these two photos- i love these wonderful daisy d's papers!

phew, there it is, thanks for taking the time to visit and look! this storybook album is listed here in my etsy shop. ohmygosh! it weighs over a pound! i will pay the shipping cost for domestic postage or 1/2 the cost for over-the-pond shipping. lol

ohmygosh, it's snowing! everyone has beautiful flower pictures up on their blogs , welcoming spring, dede talks about her 90 degree weather, and here we are with 32 degrees and snow! it is beautiful, but...

just a little tease for the new journal i am hoping to list in etsy tonight. i didn't know when i started  that it would turn into what it did... funny, you never know where you are going with a project until you get into working on it, lol! i'm also hoping someone will see the need for one of these, lol!:

"Hippity Hoppity" Easter Album

i would like to wish you all a happy easter spent with family and friends!

i did get this last easter album listed on etsy tonight in between coloring  easter eggs with our girls and grandson, eating burritos and jabbering with our son in law. this album is made as the peter cottontail album was, out of rusty pickles easter papers, only this line called "white chocolate bunnies". there are 14 pockets holding 18 double-sided tags:

               

the cover with 2 side pockets, bound using with sturdy wire and my zutter, love that machine!

pages 1 and 2 with 2 pockets and four double-sided tags and an attached little accordion album  with a ribbon tie closure.

                        

a close-up of the accordion which measures 1.5" X 2.5" with 6 mats for little photos.

 

Pages 3 and 4 with 4 side pockets holding 4 double-sided tags, paper lace and an easter poster cutout, or should i say, tear out, which can be used as an additional pocket.

Pages 5 and 6 has 4 hand sewn pockets and 6 tags, paper lace and a little vintage image cutout that may be used as a pocket also.

Pages 7 and 8 with 2 ribbon hand sewn pockets and  4 tags.

18 double-sided tags, the backs are tan card-stock and

vintage easter coffee trade card images.

ohmygosh, i forgot to take photos of the tags! geesh, i will get those pictures on later, meg has a movie she would like me to watch with her, then the tags!
