hi, is everyone enjoying their day today? it's beautiful here, sunny and cold, but the buds are forming and the robins are showing up a lot more frequently and the squirrels a lot less.
here is a new storybook journal, "haut mode" (high fashion) made with another wonderful collection from "graphic 45", that i have listed in my etsy-
the cover is a school reader from 1906. i have altered the front with the "times nouveau" double-sided card-stock collection from graphic 45.
the first divider is the name/date plate . each divider is followed by a vellum sheet and specific papers.
on the reverse of the name/date, is a side pocket, followed by linen papers.
the second divider has 2 pockets on the front, and...
1 large, full length pocket between pages, and a pocket on the back, that is handstiched with a boot charm and a removeable tag. this divider is followed by lined papers.
this is what i call the mail page, it is in every storybook journal. it holds 2 pockets, one opens on top, and the second is a slit opening, towards the bottom, short enough to hold smaller papers, such as stamps, tickets, notes
the reverse has 2 side pockets. this divider is followed by drawing/sketch paper.
this divider consists of two bingo cards from the 1930's creating a pocket with removeable feathers, clip and 2 tags, all attached to 110lb. card-stock, and backed with...
another pocket, this one, created from vintage lace. cold press watercolor papers follow this divider.
the last divider has 2 side pockets, and a whole page pocket with a top opening...
and 2 little envelopes with tags, to store smaller papers or items in, it is followed by handmade papers.
