since i have created this journal with premium card stock papers it is safe to place photos in these pockets but any photos placed inside the 3 large flap pockets should be in acid free envelopes or copies that can be replaced.
this type of journal is great fun to make and they come in handy for stashing reminders on the pages and lists in the pockets. when you create travel journals with manila envelopes, you can attach maps directly to the pages as a background and souvenir brochures/postcards to the pages as pockets and then stuff all pockets with reminders and keepsakes of your trip. if you have some spare manila folders around and would like to create one for yourself from the those take a peek at the left hand side bar of this blog under "step by step" and you will find instructions. the size and binding choices of the folder is up to you and what you have at home for creating.
if you would like to purchase ready made naked folders (in two different sizes) take a peek at my blog here and look under "bare beginnings journals"
i am also listing new premium paper packs which could be used in creating pockets and tags for these journals here
thanks a bunch for visiting! i shall return -rebecca
