omygosh, it's been awhile! it is now fall and time to cozy-in and create.
we've had a wonderful, exciting spring and summer traveling in our pop-up as far away as south dakota, getting caught in snow, heat, and a severe weather warning with tornado and having to leave our pop-up and bikes and run for safety to a decrepit early 1900's jailhouse basement for shelter. phew, was that weird. thank goodness we were just trying to erect our trailer when the sheriff came to warn us in a windy downpour. we folded it back up and ran. 2 tornado's touched down that evening around this tiny south dakota town and rolled on their way. the rest of the trip was great; we were just ahead or just behind the rest of the severe weather warnings and made it home safe and sound. i must say, i was very thankful for living in washington where our worst threats are volcanoes and earthquakes!
here is my first halloween journal for the season. it's called 'wicked" using premium double-sided papers from "graphic 45".

name/date page with a large bottom pocket. this is the first of 4 double-sided divider pages in this journal. each divder is created from premium double-sided papers, which are embellished with pockets, paper lace, brads, tags, tokens, paper clips, hand sewn pockets and metal and velvet page tab turners. each divider is also a full page pocket with top opening - lots of room for storing those special or secret items that you don't want or that will not fit on the pages.

there are 2 side pockets and a top pocket created from a cutout and sewn to the divider. each facing page after each divider has a velum page. every page is hand inked and stamped.
