Hi everyone, welcome spring! Ohmygosh, I know we are all so looking forward to the suns warmth.
So, in looking forward to warm lazy sunny days, I have created this StoryBook Travel Journal "Meadow Wings", which is listed here in my Etsy shop.
Created from a 1936 book measuring 5" X 8.25"; there are 50 pages which include a combination of lined writing, vintage linen, sketch, and 90 lb watercolor papers, on which you may journal, sketch, draw, paint, and glue. There is also a...
Trinket cluster
Which is attached to vintage seam binding ribbon holding the name tag tied to the sturdy O-Wire binding
Original end papers
I love these!

Divider 1
Name and Date page with the large bird cutout creating a bottom pocket.
Each divider is created from beautiful premium double-sided papers from Tim Holtz, which are embellished with pockets, and a combination of paper lace, brads, tags, tokens, paper clips, metal, leather, and velvet page tab turners. Each divider is also a full page pocket with top opening - lots of room for storing those secret or special items that don't fit or that you don't want everyone to see on the pages.
Divider 1 backside
1 bottom pocket with a tag slipped in.
Each facing page after the divider is a vellum page.
After each vellum page is an original book page with a chapter name and sweet 30's images. The first chapter page is titled "The Great Adventure"
Divider 2
The Correspondence page. This page is divided in half with 2 top opening pockets, 3 top pockets with side openings and 3 strip pockets; one of paper lace. There are 2 tags tucked in the side opening pockets and 5 "ticket" tags slipped in the strip pockets.
There is a rose "token" hanging from the top. These page pockets are just right for holding mailing lists, stamps, postcards, and envelopes.
Divider 2 backside
3 side pockets on this page with paper lace and the large bird cutout as two. There is also a large tag slipped in.
All tags are double-sided with the backside blank and ready for journaling, lists, photos, or ephemera.

Thank you for taking the time to look, I hope you will try and create a journal for your summer trips! Use ephemera from your junk drawers and photo boxes for tags and page turns. Use an old book that is tattered and missing a few pages for your cover or create a cover from cardboard or chipboard (sturdier), cover with papers, maps and whatever you have handy. You can use the O-wire binding method, ring binder clips, ribbons or rope. Let your imagination go and remember - there are no rules, no mistakes, just create!
