"School Days" StoryBook Journal

So, back once again with the last of 4 pre-made journals, meaning I created them over summer and just never took pictures to post or list. Geeze, I have been lazy! The next journal may take a while to create and post. Does anyone have a preference?  Travel journal; Beach or just travel? Baby journal; girl, boy? Halloween; spooky, cute? Spring? Winter? Fall? Christmas? I would love to know! 

Well, this "School Days" journal has been created using an early 1900's story book called "Little Folks' Number Book" with 55 pages which include a combination of velum, lined writing, sketch, vintage linen, and 140 lb. water color papers. I will be listing it in my Etsy shop on Sunday. Here we go...

                                              Divider 1 Front

Name/Date page with 2 bottom pockets and a place for your name and date.

               

                                            Divider 1 Backside

2 bottom pockets; one is paper lace. There are 2 tiny hang tags attached to a pocket with a tiny safety pin.

I have designed 4 double-sided pocket dividers (which are also full pocket pages with top openings) using premium papers.

3 side pockets with a little double-sided tag tucked in.

2 side pockets and 1 strip pocket with a large double-sided tag slipped in.

3 bottom pockets, one is a flash card cutout with paper lace with a double-sided tag.

"Mischief" A Halloween StoryBook Journal

Name/Date Page. I have designed 4 double-sided pocket dividers (which are also full pocket pages with top openings) using double-sided premium papers from Crate Paper "After Dark" Collection. 

               

                                             Divider 1 Backside

These dividers are embellished with pockets, clips, brads, metal, leather, and velvet page tabs. Each page of this journal is hand inked and stamped. There are 2 side pockets and a "spooky" tag on top.

Thanks a bunch for looking, it feels good to be getting some journals listed again; getting back in the swing. I have one more completed journal that requires photos and such. It is a school journal, the cover is quite old fashioned, I'd say 1915's perhaps. Enjoy your day! -Rebecca

"Cirque de Plaisir" Storybook Journal

A new circus themed journal called "Cirque de Plaisir" (Circus of Fun) will be listed in my Etsy shop tomorrow. It was created from a 1931 children's StoryBook reader called "Fact and Story Reader" measuring 5" X  5.25" with 60 pages which include a combination of velum, lined writing, sketch, vintage linen, and 140 lb. water color papers. 

I have designed 4 double-sided pocket dividers using premium papers from Bo Bunny's "Carnival" collection embellished with pockets (each divider is a full page pocket with top opening), clips, double-sided tags, leather, velvet, and metal page turn tabs, vintage seam binding ribbons, paper cutouts, coin envelope pockets and a trinket cluster. Each page of this journal is hand inked, stamped and bound between covers which were created from a 1931 children's reader. Also included are a vintage 1930's bingo card double-sided pocket page, and 8 removable double-sided tags.
