hi everyone! so, as promised, here is the fourth of july mini album kit that is heading down to the scrapbook oasis this week. well really, what the album will look like when you finish creating it-
for those of you who have assembled my mini album kits, i have decided to get off of the "chunky" style and let you try something a little bit different- a tabbed 4.5" X 6" eight page mini album. 8 of the double-sided, vintage patriotic postcard image tags are held in place with a large corner pocket, that you will create and the 9th tag is slipped in behind the statue of liberty on the cover. there are brads, eyelets, ribbons, gold paper stars and beads, round ball tacks and those photo corners to keep you busy, not to mention the page construction of this sturdy little album! so get the glue out- yeah! and head to the oasis on saturday or tuesday for sure, to touch, feel and smell this fun little album! lol i say smell because the first thing my daughters do when i hand them one of my completed albums for critiquing, is smell it! really! so funny!
the supply is slightly limited until more papers arrive at my lss! geesh! i will send more next week hopefully, and have a supply for the blog, so those of you who wish to try your hands at creating one, and you don't live in southern california, will have a chance. the good thing is, each page is made in the same manner, so, once you make the first page, you will be able to move right through this album in a jiffy.
i must finish writing the instructions, so i will say adieu for now, have a great day today! and thank you all, who have purchased kits and goodies from this blog and through my etsy shop and for your kind emails! -rebecca
oops, i must mention this here, my sister, who lives in alaska, made the trip down to megs graduation on friday, much to our surprise and gratitude! WHAT A GREAT AUNT! woohoo! thanks again polly, we love and miss you! OOXX.
