how is everyone this friday the 13th.? everything seems to be going well around here with no mishaps, so glad! lol.
i am listing a new "pastpages" ephemera journal this evening in my etsy shop, it's full of fun old papers mostly from the 1870's through the 1920's and smatterings from the 1950's and even 1980's, that you can build your own, personalized journal on. add stamps, images, writings, clips, pins, ribbon, lace or anything that you own that you want to use to make it uniquely yours.
so, here we go, 19 photos, yikes! hang in there! -
"pastpages" ephemera journal no.3 cover. created using a 1904 music page and a poem page from a 1911 school reader.
page 1 is a pocket page created from an 1888 ledger paper with snaps along the sides.
page 2 is the back of the ledger pocket page. it looks like, after the ledger was filled in, someone decided to reuse it for a scrapbook, gluing clips from papers and other sources, that had special meaning to whoever did it. there are poems, people, and interesting stories, facts and ads on all of these great pages! i was so excited to find this unique treasure! see the rose cutout placed between poems? how fun is that! page three is the starting of some linen pages for journaling on, or adding your own goodies to.
this is a 1980's math flashcard folded, with a 1920's well-played rook card, attached with a spiral clip.
another pocket page created from the 1888 ledger-scrapbook with lace, a music note charm and a seattle transit ticket tucked into the pocket
