"boy, oh boy!" new album kit and prototype

oh my gosh, we've had a busy time around here little owens birthday was saturday- 2 years old! it goes by so fast! and meg had her regionals for special olympics on sunday. both days were great for the events, the rain held off until we were done with each- phew!

i listed a few more vintage supplies in my etsy shop and my artfire studio, i will also add some to the blog for sale items. here are the newest kits:

so, i really haven't been being lazy, the days have just been filled with so many things to do, geesh! it's spring! the frogs are croakin' and the sweet smells of spring are here, so glad!

this time of year always brings so many activities, this spring jess will be graduating from high school, our baby, our last. so many mixed feelings, gosh. jess has been going to the community collage and will have her aa next spring, her plan is a double major in education, special ed is her passion.  meagen is doing the special olympics again with jess coaching so practices are going on. award ceremonies, meetings and other events make spring very busy.

but...i did have time to  finish a couple of albums and take photos of other supplies i will continue to list this week. our little owen is visiting, he is sitting on my lap as i write, eating cherrios and dangling his feet, what a little sweetheart!

so, here is the little album i promised you a couple of days ago, i got caught up in my de-stashing again and lost track of time, geesh! i love these papers from "graphic 45" too, i also picked some of the travel papers up for a travel journal, so fun! i love these guys! this "playtime" 5.5" X 6" 10 page  "playtime" album is listed here:

there is a "teapot" pocket with a tag tucked in. i have used 110lb. premium

cover papers in ecru to create the tags in this album.

there are 2 pockets and 2 tags on these two pages. the tags in this album 

have printed vintage school reader illustrations on the fronts, the

backs are left blank.

2 pockets attached to the pages with embroidery thread, with 2 tags 

slipped into the pockets.

 there are 2 pockets on each page here, with 2 tags, and a 4 page accordion

album attached to the front of the pocket, with a seam binding ribbon

closure and a mary jane shoe charm attached to the ribbon. i have used silk

thread to attach the pockets to the pages.

                        

here is a close-up of the little 2.5" X 2.5" accordion album. i have matted

the inside of the album,but you could use the flip side of the pages to attach

more little photos.

there are once again 4 pockets on these two pages , with 2 tags, and a little

mat with a star clip to tuck a photo, journaling or piece of ephemera under.

"hi valentine" a new album and pocket pages kits

well, the snow has left us and it is warmer in the 30's instead of the 20's and teens, geesh! it feels balmy, lol!

so, here, also here are the child's valentine album and kits, i mentioned in one of my earlier posts, with sweet vintage valentine card images as the pockets and a little matchbook album too...

             

all the goodies in the add on kit with 4 photo corners created out of  my mind's eye "just dreamy2" double-sided card-stock, 9 vintage valentine card images, lots of ribbon, and 7 hand cut and punched  scalloped photo tags.

 

this entire pocket pages album kit is created with double-sided  card-stock  from the ""just dreamy" collection by my mind's eye and will arrive with everything you need to create an 8 page album with 4 pocketed pages, 4 double-sided tags with round pulls, plus a binding clip, twill ribbon and full instructions and photos, to create this...

pages 3 and 4 with 2 tags. just a note... i tea dyed the tag pulls, that is, i dipped them in black tea, crimped them with my acquired dentist locking tweezers, and dried them with my heat gun. it makes the seam binding curly, i love the look.

now, remember, with this album kit, the papers are all double-sided so you could actually use the opposite sides and create a totally different album!

"Bunny Trail" Easter Album, Easter Kits

hello, hello, well, easter is on it's way, early this year too. i have listed a new spring pocket pages album kit,  easter "add-on" kit, and the prototype easter album "Bunny Trail" in my etsy shop . here are the photos, very strange but the colors were hard to photograph today, some came out darker than they really are. i guess photography 101 would be a good course for me to take, it might make my life easier. lol.
